October Wrap Up

It has been a while since I last wrote or posted one of these. Mostly because I didn’t read much in August or September, due to a heavy workload and lots of travelling. But also because I was struggling with the motivation to write and blog. But I’m back now!

I have been home in Switzerland for almost a month and starting to get my mojo back a bit. The peace and quiet have really helped me to start reading and reviewing again. So expect some more posts coming soon.

I managed to read six books this month, which I am pretty pleased with:

Katheryn Howard: The Tainted Queen, by Alison Weir

An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth, by Chris Hadfield

The Valley of Horses, by Jean M Auel

Songbirds, by Christy Lefteri

The Wolf: A True Story of Survival and Obsession in the West, by Nate Blakeslee

The Tiger’s Wife, by Téa Obreht

And I am currently reading Celestial Bodies, by Jokha Alharthi.

My favourite read of the month was The Valley of Horses, but this almost doesn’t count as it was a re-read. Apart from that, I really enjoyed reading about the Yellowstone wolves in The Wolf.

How many books did you read this month? Any new favourites?
