Another month, another wrap-up post and I am still surprised that it is the end of the month. How can we already be halfway through the year?! I struggled with reading in June. I had a bit of a crazy work schedule so I was very tired and I ended up getting into a bit of a reading slump. I had checked some really interesting books out of the library, but they weren’t the ones I needed to be reading at the time, so I just got a bit stuck.
I read three books in total this month, although one of them I didn’t finish. I still consider it as read though, because I got through half of it, but it just wasn’t the right time. I will pick this one up again another time and give it a second chance.
These are my June reads:
The Light of Days: The Untold Story of Women Resistance Fighters in Hitler’s Ghettos, by Judy Batalion
The Alice Network, by Kate Quinn
Catch Me If You Can, by Frank W Abagnale
And I am currently reading Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte.
How many books did you read this month? Any new favourites?
