May Wrap-Up

I know I say this every month, but how can it possibly be the end of May already?!? This month has really flown by without my noticing!

I am still trying to get my life in order, but I have been enjoying the free time to do a nice amount of reading. One thing I will be grateful for, looking back on this lockdown/isolation period, is that it has allowed me to really rediscover my love of reading. I had been a bit lost over the past few years, letting work and stress and other things get in the way of reading, but now I feel like I am getting back to myself in some way.

So, here we go! These are the books I read this month:

What She Left, by T. R. Richmond

Kommandant’s Girl, by Pam Jenoff

The Lonely Sea and the Sky, by Francis Chichester

The Russian Concubine, by Kate Furnivall

Sheer Abandon, by Penny Vincenzi

Land of a Thousand Hills: My Life in Rwanda, by Rosamond Halsey Carr

Three Junes, by Julia Glass

The Furies, by Katie Lowe

Life After You, by Lucie Brownlee

Stormbringers, by Philippa Gregory

And I am currently reading Fool’s Gold, by Philippa Gregory.

How many books did you read in May? Any new favourites?
