May Wrap-Up

What a busy month! At the beginning of May, I moved to a new town and a new house, and started a new job. It has been quite the adjustment, getting familiar with new surroundings, new people and exploring a new place. Thankfully, though, my new town is part of the same regional library network, so I can still access lots of fabulous books!

As a result of being so busy this past month, I haven’t had so much time to dedicate to reading, or blogging! But I did manage to get through 8 books in May; all physical books for once.

The Gilded Ones, by Namina Forna

The Mother-In-Law, by Sally Hepworth

Drowned Country, by Emily Tesh

Clanlands, by Sam Heughan & Graham McTavish

American Dirt, by Jeanine Cummins

The Farm, by Joanne Ramos

The Library of Legends, by Janie Chang

Older Sister. Not Necessarily Related, by Jenny Heijun Wills

And I am currently reading Bibliolepsy, by Gina Apostol.

My favourite book this month was American Dirt, but I really enjoyed all of the others too!

How many books did you read in May? Any new favourites?
