May Wrap-up

May has been a very busy month, but not such a good reading month for me. I am back to work full time now and working quite long hours, so I haven’t had all that much time for reading. At the beginning of the month, I went away for a few days to the Isle of Skye. I did bring a few books with me because I am a bookworm after all, but I didn’t read very much. I am not one to spend my holidays lounging by a pool reading a book. Our trips are always filled with lots of adventures and exploring, which doesn’t allow much time for reading!

I did manage to read 5 books this month though, all physical books again:

The Summer of Impossible Things, by Rowan Coleman

Anna of Kleve: Queen of Secrets, by Alison Weir,

Drums of Autumn, by Diana Gabaldon

The Boy in the Suitcase, by Lene Kaaberbol & Agnete Friis

The Last Letter from your Lover, by Jojo Moyes

And I am currently reading Homegoing, by Yaa Gyasi.

All of these I rated 4 stars or above, so it was a great month for quality over quantity. My favourite was Drums of Autumn, the fourth book in the Outlander series.

How many books did you read this month? Any new favourites?
