January Wrap-Up

I’m sorry, but how can it be the end of January already!?! I still haven’t quite adjusted to the fact that it’s 2021, let alone already a month down.

But not a lot has changed really. Another month means another lockdown and so I haven’t worked at all this month. I can’t complain though because this has meant lots of time for reading. Add to that the fact that I have lots of wonderful Birthday and Christmas books to get through, and this has been a pretty good month.

I read 10 books this month! 9 physical books and 1 eBook:

The Salt Path, by Raynor Winn

The Guest List, by Lucy Foley

Island of Wings, by Karin Altenberg

Lirael, by Garth Nix

Abhorsen, by Garth Nix

A Life on Our Planet, by David Attenborough

Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon

The Beekeeper of Aleppo, by Christy Lefteri

Katherine of Aragon, The True Queen, by Alison Weir

Moonlight over Mayfair, by Anton du Beke

I am really proud of this total, especially as some of these books are quite long. Outlander being the longest at 880 pages! That was one of my favourites this month, along with The Guest List and A Life on Our Planet.

How many books did you read this month? Any new favourites?
