April Wrap-Up

This has been a great month for me. After working for the winter season, I have had a month off work, house and dog-sitting for some friends. It has been great to have some downtime and I have indulged in reading quite a lot, but also going for amazing hikes with the dog and just generally relaxing.

I read 9 books this month, including some really long ones. 7 physical books and 2 eBooks:

Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens

The Empire of Gold, by S.A. Chakraborty

The Best Things, by Mel Giedroyc

The Fiery Cross, by Diana Gabaldon

Night Road, by Kristin Hannah

The Mountain Between Us, by Charles Martin

Home Stretch, by Graham Norton

The Book of Two Ways, by Jodi Picoult

The Color Purple, by Alice Walker

And I am currently reading Vox, by Christina Dalcher.

It was hard to pick a favourite this month, as I rated 5 of these books 5 stars, but I think I will have to go with Where the Crawdads Sing.

How many books did you read this month? Any new favourites?
